Alright, alright. Second post thus far. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Getting all excited and revved up for Gen Con. For once I am prepared (mostly) costume wise. I’ve got 3 costumes I shall be wearing for four days and they are as follows:

Thursday: Velma from Scooby Doo (no pics yet.)

Friday: Cyberpunk with a lime green theme:

Now, this is just a pic of the clothing. I don’t have my makeup on for it yet, which promises to be quite epic, but you get the idea.

Saturday: Kaylee from Firefly.

This is a super unfished preview of the general costume. Hopefully the jumpsuit will be better fitted. I got the patches in the mail today and I’ll be getting my hair a bit layered for tomorrow, but you get the idea. I love the shirt I bought for this.

Sunday: Velma again.

I am quite excited. Not sure how obvious this has become, but I adore dressing up. And the fact that my rocking boyfriend will be dressing up as Simon to go with my Kaylee costume makes it all the more awesome. I cannot wait. Not to mention the fact that it takes place only two days after my birthday (August 3rd, people… Buy me presents! ;P) Hopefully I’ll even have a little cash to spend!

Life is fun. 8)

Well THAT’S Annoying

Not sure I’m all to fond of how WordPress is all “hey, we’re gonna post FOR you and then just let you edit that. Titling it “Hello World,” even! The nerve! I was going to title my first post something equally chipper, but since they beat me to it, I’ve decided to set the tone for this blog as spiteful and cynical, all thanks to some smartass who decided to steal the glory of my first post.

Now that I’ve got that rant over with, I don’t expect this blog to go many places. Apparently to be deemed as any kind of important, you need a Vlog. People are just too lazy to read what you have to say, and much prefer watching it instead. Unless, of course, you’re one of the six unfortunate people in North America that have dial-up, in which case you’re probably more than happy to read rather than watch. I will use this to my advantage to get those six people to become zealously loyal to me and have them go commit social shenaniganizing on my behalf. It will be glorious.

It shouldn’t be too difficult to realize that this blog has no real purpose other than to give me an outlet for stream-of-consciousness rants of the utmost pointlessness while trying to sound witty and clever.
